Hanie gave it one heck of a try yesterday and actually played pretty darn good, should be the backup to Cutler in my opinion

There is nothing impressive about him. His questionable decision making hurts this team when the big game is on the line. Any HC with any clue would have never ever put Todd Collins in the game. I don't know how anybody can sit here and defend Lovie Smith when he makes these bonehead decisions. Jerry Angleo can break the bank and bring in Peppers and Jay Cutler but what is going through his mind when he brings in players like Todd Collins? What did this guy do so great to earn the #2 spot?
Want to question Jay Cutlers toughness, question the POS OL that Jerry Angelo provided us. I know Jay is tough yet maybe he reached the breaking point from all of those hits he sustained this year. I think he is a hell of a qb but he has no freaking experienced talent around him. He took the worst beating of all players the bears have on this team yet he is our franchise qb. Get him a supporting cast and see what he can do next year. If we provide him with nothing then expect the same results.
The bears need depth and Jerry Angleo has to go for us to get any depth. Look at the packers who have a lot of depth on this team. Ted Thompson doesn't look so bad after all does he. This is the post favre era team that looks solid with a franchise qb, great wr, good TE, solid OL.
Well said. This team just does not go the extra mile. Jerry Angelo runs the team like a car salesman and Lovie Smith is their "yesman". "Look, we got Peppers, we got Cutler, this is gonna be a great team!" it's the equivalent of saying "look at those rims, look at the leather interior". What the car salesman forgets to tell you is the offensive line, go to wideouts and a second cover corner is missing, it's also the equivalent of conveniently not telling you the engine and transmission are both junk inside of a used car you might be potentially buying. The McCaskey's run a business, not a championship organization.

I think about it, and I have to really think hard to think back to when he was a Green Bay Packer and when he played his best football and was in Super Bowls and when he became the Brett Favre we all know."

Angelo is the king of dumpster diving when it comes to bringing in talent. He either has to break the bank or sacrafice a boat load of draft picks to land a player.

In the end it will be 31 disappointed teams anyway. So either the steelers or the packers will fill the same, if not a worse, disappointment our bears felt.
