Bears Managment
For all the excuses I saw this year it comes down to having the right management to run this team. Well I think Angleo sucks and Lovie sucks. I don't care if Jerry built this team or Lovie runs this team they both blow. This year was great up until we lost to the packers in the final game. Lovie is a mediocre HC. There is nothing impressive about him. His questionable decision making hurts this team when the big game is on the line. Any HC with any clue would have never ever put Todd Collins in the game. I don't know how anybody can sit here and defend Lovie Smith when he makes these bonehead decisions. Jerry Angleo can break the bank and bring in Peppers and Jay Cutler but what is going through his mind when he brings in players like Todd Collins? What did this guy do so great to earn the #2 spot?
Want to question Jay Cutlers toughness, question the POS OL that Jerry Angelo provided us. I know Jay is tough yet maybe he reached the breaking point from all of those hits he sustained this year. I think he is a hell of a qb but he has no freaking experienced talent around him. He took the worst beating of all players the bears have on this team yet he is our franchise qb. Get him a supporting cast and see what he can do next year. If we provide him with nothing then expect the same results.
The bears need depth and Jerry Angleo has to go for us to get any depth. Look at the packers who have a lot of depth on this team. Ted Thompson doesn't look so bad after all does he. This is the post favre era team that looks solid with a franchise qb, great wr, good TE, solid OL.

Sad part is, this Packers team is probably better then those Farve Packers teams. They have a GM that makes a "boneheaded" move at the time in cutting ties with Favre, only to be proven later that it was a genius move, we have a GM that signs Todd Collins.

Why is Collins #2 on the depth chart? Hanie looked like he could have won the game had he started.
“I think he did [tarnish his legacy]. Not only this season, but the last few seasons, going back and forth [on retirement] and bouncing to a few different teams. I think about it, and I have to really think hard to think back to when he was a Green Bay Packer and when he played his best football and was in Super Bowls and when he became the Brett Favre we all know."

Even Matt Flynn looked good in the two games he played when rodgers was injured.

only lovie smith can answer that question.

Only reason I can see them having Collins at #2 is experience.

Experience does make up for lack of talent. If the Bears coaches don't understand that then they should all be let go.
