How about the rest of the team.
Outside of this one, let there be no comments about the starting qb. how about the rest of the team:
Forte is the real deal folks, he is the engine that will make this offense run in the future, we have our Marshal Faulk.
WR's: said it all year, and before it started, they were are weak link, and they proved it here in the last two games against the Pack. They are soft and get pushed off their routes/don't fight for the balls the way they need to.
TE's We got em folks, just need to use them. Davis and Olsen need to learn to block better, but that seems to be happening.
OL....migrane coming on....next....
DB's are in need of serious retweeking. None of their jobs should be safe.
LB's, looked like they are solid for awhile. Urlacher proved why he should be a HoF canidate w/his play.
DL, need inside pressure, get those edge guys some help please. Pepp looked like the stud he is though.
Haine is fine, as our backup, drop collins and don't draft another one. If you want a young kid to groom, get one in UFA and sit him on the practice squad for a few years.
ST's, Maynard is fine, but he will eventually need someone to replace him, he cannot keep doing it forever...why wasn't Gould allowed one shot insde a 50 yarder? Hester is capable of being stopped, we saw it at the end when they decided to move him to wr; that is why he has to learn to be at least a capable slot wr.

Disagree about Maynard. Seriously good directional punter, but that only works when standing on your own 40 or better. When deeper in your own territory, you shouldn't wonder if your punter can kick it past the opposing 45. His leg strength is gone. Masthay was far superior (and just as accurate).
Shane Lechler is gonna be a F/A. Sign him.

That was kinda my point, need to get someone in here soon to start competing w/him. Of course the last time they did that, he made them look like fools, but that was a few years ago.

pretty spot on assessment ric. Should be interesting how they do things this offseason. We have a new scouting department. And lets see how honest they will be with their evaluations of the roster

Gonna have to nail the draft this time; and hit FA hard again. Sorry Mc's it's another year of having to spend caesh.

I certainly wouldn't mind having no salary cap, as long as we get Nnamdi and replace the o-line like we did with Jimmy Carter....

I'll be happy w/no Collins on the team and any improvement in the OL to start.

I agree with everything here. Secondary does need some help, but the 2nd half the entire defense was shutting them down every series. I would like to find that next great Bear LB though, imagine how good this group would be then.
