The one we havent signed...yet.

Cullen Jenkins a target for the Bears

Depending on his health and the size of the contract he would be a very nice signing.
He has the interior pass rush skills that we need.
jenkiins problem is the injury history and age, unless he came on an incentive laden contract, i'd pass on him- yes when plays he is good, unfor every other year he misses 50-90% of the games...and 'moon mullin", esp with free agents gets ALOT wrong, just a warning putting alot of stock into his Stuff will burn ya![]()
yep and guess that is my point- Do you want to invest big $$ in a "maybe" and oft injured player.. or instead get the UT in draft and grow him and use the F/A $$ on a top Guard or WR instead?.. think you can get a younger, better "stud" at those poistions over what jenkins would want and not have the injury concern and build the interior from draft and ahve depth with guys like gilbert, adams and big toe... Is he an upgrade? of course, but think ther are better use of the Cap $$$ with alot less risk elsewhere

Not when he's missed as many games as he has. How are you any more certain that he'll stay healthier as a Bear than he did as a Packer? I'd even take a lesser, post injury, Tommie Harris over Jenkins if only because it does no good to have a guy on the team who's injured so often. At least Harris was on the field the majority of the time and not injured.
This stuff is pure speculation based on an obvious need somebody perceives Jenkins can fill with a little, "let's steal a guy from the rival" intrigue sprinkled on top. It may also be nothing more than misinformation generated by the Bears to disguise their interest in a DT in the draft. Don't bet any money on the story Windy. I doubt it's true.
