Ideally Jackson is the size/playmaker type of WR that the Bears need. The problem that opposing defense's have of scheming against him alone would improve the space for Olsen in the pass game and help Forte with the run.

Cutler needs a safety net when scrambling/go to guy and Edwards inconsistency fears me. BA will make the unbelievable catch on one play and then drop the next when its in his hands and on the run in open space. Seen it for years from his days at Big Blue in college to Browns to Jets...

I just haven't seen enough of that from him in the past to declare him that. But who knows, maybe he turned a corner mentally and I'm wrong. He certainly has the size and tools to be one of the more physical guys.

Regardless, he'd help out the group. I wouldn't frown on his signing if it's for the right price. I just don't see him as the 'go get it' guy yet.

Getting Vincent Jackson would be a catch comparable to the Cutler trade or the signing of Peppers. That would be nice but maybe unafforable, who knows. The Bears wanted Braylon Edwards when he came out in the draft and it wouldn't surprise me to find a lingering interest there. But I do agree. His inconsistency bothers me.

Cut Davis and Wolfe (meaning use more defensive players as ST'ers) and take Holmes and Brad Smith if possible. And get Chad Pennington

QB coach/emergency #3 for those i'm trying to sell it to. To me, it's Number 1 starter/showing Cutler how it's done.

I think with Indy it comes to who is the QB and coaching.

Holmes has shown its about him. Probably cost too much tho.

Anybody know what happened to Marvin Harrison after he split the Colts?
