This all depends on the price tag.
If w can get creative with the package then we absolutely need to explore it, the guy is a QBs best friend and is still young. Fitz and Jay could make beautiful music on the lake front for the next 10 years.
I would offer the 29th pick in the draft in a heart beat for Fitz because the chances of landing a talent like that at 29 is almost 0%.
If the package required more picks then we should look at the 2012 draft and leave the rest of 2011 alone.
1. Trade for Fitz
2. OG Marcus Gilbert [Florida]
3. DT Jarvis Jenkins [Clemson]
4. C Jake Kirkpatrick [TCU]
5. CB Kendric Burney [UNC]
6. LB Lawrence Wilson [UConn]
The "right price" is going to mean sevearly overpaying. It's a given that Bulger will be heading to AZ, and the Cardinals do not want to deal with the Bears. The only way they trade with the Bears is if they are flat out robbing them blind.

Again, no. Let's pick up a second tier WR, and work on this o-line, even if it means keeping 1 or 2 starters, and try to have a legitimate competition at EVERY spot. The right price for them will be the death of building our o-line.

I agree we could have OG Justin Blalock and C Ryan Kalil for what we are going to pay Larry Fitz.

And I was only referring to the draft picks.
