    Post Senior Bowl Mock Draft

    Free Agents

    OG Davin Joseph [Tampa Bay]

    DT Eric Foster [Indianapolis]

    Draft

    1[29] WR Torrey Smith [Maryland] 6’1” 205lbs.

The OL talent may be gone by pick 29 and the Bears need to invest in assisting Jay Cutler. Smith has good size and strength to go with his speed and has been compared to Roddy White.

    2[61] OG James Carpenter [Alabama] 6’5” 315lbs.

Carpenter dominated the Senior Bowl and showed that he combines good feet with power. He may not be a LT, but he can come in and start at LG.

    3[93] DT Jurell Casey [USC] 6’1” 305lbs.

Casey is a stout penetrating DT that can add to the rotation and collapse the pocket from the inside.

    4. CB Kendric Burney [UNC] 5’8” 190lbs.

Undersized, but physical and aggressive and he showed at the Senior Bowl that he will come up and tackle.

    5. C Jake Kirkpatrick [TCU] 6’2” 304lbs.

A developmental center that can learn from Olin Kreutz and be groomed as a successor for 2012.

    6. LB Alex Mujciak [Maryland] 6’3”235lbs.

A special teamer and a player with the speed and mentality to be developed behind Brian Urlacher.

I've like the UNC CB's for a couple years now, to get one would be great. Not sure the wr is big enough for my liking, but anything over 5'11" is an improvement at this point.

I am still not comfortible with drafting another young WR. but we need some youth at LB and DT. If there is a young overacheiver at SS or FS I say get him.

Another undersized CB? No, thanks. We've already got Tim Jennings.
