Well said. But then again you can just choose to ignore or use ignore feature. There's always someone your going to want to "tell off" in TBS. Why let it put a person out in the first place. Stressed over a game one cannot control and someones opinion. You should not have quit for two years.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I can't tell you what other teams he would be starting on, because I don't study them like I do the Bears, but Garza is not the worst in the league. He pulls well, gets to the second level on run blocking, and doesn't have the worst sack stats by any means.
To me, you take 2 interior linemen. I love Kreutz and always will, but his best days were over 2 years ago. Too many injuries, too old, whatever, he isn't the same as he once was. And if he wasn't calling such a good game, I'd bet he wouldn't be here. He ends up on the ground on more plays than not.
LG is a big need position. IMO, Williams was put there for 2 reasons - 1)he was better than anyone else at the position and Tice believes in building from the center out and 2)Tice likely wanted Williams to develop more of a punch in the running game.
So, to me, I'd take a C and a LG. Still develop Louis, but bring in some better competition via the draft. I'd love for the C to be a F/A, but that may be too much to ask.

His initial punch has improved but still gets too high at times and does not play with consistent power for guard. So, IMO he has no future at that position. Way too many guys can come in and compete with him there. He has the athleticism and hands (even better now) for tackle and stays balanced and leverage through initial contact much better there than inside. LT or RT case could definitely be made. But, there no way JA is going LT in the first two rounds this year after going there with CW in 08, and he's not going FA for a tackle. Guard yes, doubt very much tackle. Plus, we can't possibly keep OMG at LT next year...he's friggin' horrible. CW is not elite but based on our options, even in the draft, still think the best option is to move him outside.

Based on his previous play at the position.
Based on the fact that he's been able to handle a speed rush quite well. Keeping his body square in his kick-slide until he reaches the depth of the QB, then turning his body to chase the rusher by. All the while, having a decent bend in his knees.
Based on his ability to recognize stunts and blitzes consistently.
Based on how quick his feet are and how he's able to slide after contact.
Based on how he has decent hand work... though it's certainly not perfect.
He's very technically sound. He rarely goes top heavy (bends at his waist) when he's taking on a rush on the edge. I don't know if he'll ever be a great run blocker, but he even exceeded my expectations in that dept., at times, this season, playing at guard. So who knows what he may have taken with him from his time at guard. I think he can be a good LT... I'm not proclaiming he's the next Orlando Pace or anything of the sort. I think he can be solid guy there.

I beg to Differ, I think he is going to be a LG, for the rest of his career. I think the bears MNGT realized their mistake and moved him to the location where he will get the best chance to help the team now and going forward. We shall see, I don't think the bears should limit themselves, on OL.. They need at least 4 of them!

Be surprised if he remains at guard but they have to salvage that #1 pick somehow. Either way it will be evident when camp starts what they're going to do with him.

I say see where he ends up ( if there's football) at the end of the season. They can start him at LT, then realize again.. He can't handle that postion, and move him back.. Lets relook at this in 12 months, baring no lockout.

None of that shit ruined my day, but I didn't like being cussed out when I said something that a certain someone didn't agree with. I'm not the only person on this site who has had trouble with shit like that. There are at least half-of-a-handful of people who did like I did and quit coming onto this site because of the way they were being treated. Now, I have grown up enough to realize that evidently, what one person's opinion plus $5 will buy me a cup of coffee at Starbucks. I don't like seeing people fighting in here because that's not civil conversation. In that way, the old DBZ.com was better in terms of just having a good time plus being able to discuss football strategy.
