This could have easily been the Bears, thats the worst part. Capers deserves alot of credit for fixing their defense, last year they couldn't stop the pass and couldn't rush the QB, and they did boht this year, that was it for them. 3 times this year the Bears shut them down and still only ended up with 1 win because they couldn't score on them.

Exactly...the more "heated" it gets the more fun and funnier it gets...but anger is never a part of it...
4th, our opinions and passion over those opinions are real, but the supposed anger, insults, and venomous words are simply comic relief; its nothing but good-natured ribbing...every time you see us ripping each other apart, I guarantee we are both laughing our butts off...I think that goes for most TBS regulars...

HOW many injuries did the Packers have over the course of the season...??? The Packers were coached to WIN. The Bears were, and always will be, coached not to lose...!!!

Ya'know ..... we certainly DON'T always see eye-to-eye.....LOL!!!! ~ But I'm totally on board with you here.
The Pack did what they had to do...and they did it GREAT!!!!
I HATE IT! .... But, It's the truth.
They overcame a lot of bad shit, became the #6th seed....and then went on to crush everyone in their path, INCLUDING the Steelers.
They deserved it. (I really want to just trow up in my mouth saying that! LOL!!!! ~ but, it's true)
And, NO ... we wont live that down for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. But then....it's the BEARS own fault. They had the same chance that 30 other teams had.
And they BLEW it.
There is a few positives out of this:
1. NFC Won the Super Bowl!
2. NFCN Won the Super Bowl.
3. The Lombardi is back in the division it belongs to!!!! .... :-)
As for the BEARS .... it's On to "Next Year" .... and, as usual ... business is still "UNFINISHED".

The bottom line is the Bears had every chance to win, so many big play chances that never happened. 2 passes missed to Hester could have been TDs, BU made a huge INT play but could have run it back for a TD with several blockers out with him. Hopefully next year they make those plays, big plays change games.
I'm sure Pitt is kicking themselves, that was a bad fumble by Mendenhall, really didn't protect the ball on that play, and Roeth badly underthrowing the long pass ended up a GB TD. They could have avoided some big plays that GB made, but thats football :)

The same could be said about the packers wrs dropping passes. I do feel Ben played real bad at times yet I credit the packers defense. They still looked real solid when Woodson left the game. I felt the second INT was a good play by the DB. Ben seemed to miss wide open wrs on some drives and then deliver some great passes on other drives. Clay Mathews made a huge play on the fumble. Prior to that play you see Kevin Green telling him it is time to make a play and he did.
