And now, we can finally focus on THE DRAFT!!!
Now that the season is over for everybody, it's time to stop focus on our misery of the Packers winning the Super Bowl and beating the Bears twice to get to that point. It's now time to start focusing on THE DRAFT!!!
I remember seeing several people throughout the course of the season discussing the 2011 Draft, and I just thought that it was too premature. Now is the proper time to do so. I know that I, for one, will be purchasing a couple of pro football magazines that focus strictly on the draft. I'm excited at the prospects for improving the talent on the team and for coming back next season ready to compete for another division title and spot in the Super Bowl.

Same here. We gotta have the offense that can deal with GB's Defense tho.

Unfortunately, i can see the Bears screwing up in the draft. They need to draft smart and get some depth and fix the offensive line.

I'd love to have Dom Capers' defense right about now. No joke. Their run defense isn't much to sniff over, but their secondary is honestly one of the very best I have seen in several years. The only two ways we're going to get better against the Packer secondary is to: 1) draft another receiver or two with some size who can run good, clean routes; 2) start from scratch by building a brand new offensive line from the one we saw last season. This can be done in one offseason if Jerry Angelo handles this with care; and 3) work on Cutler's mechanics. While he is miles ahead of other Bears' quarterbacks over the past generation, he still has a knack for making poor decisions because he puts too much trust into the strength of his arm, and his foot work is somewhat sloppy. Often, Cutler can be seen not squaring up to throw and, instead, throwing off-balance, particularly off his back foot. This causes inaccurate passes that create hardships for our under-talented receivers, who already have that fact about them to overcome.

I'm going to focus on hockey and let them sort out this lockout business, then maybe the draft.
