Who needs to replaced on the o-line?

Since I don't have enough space in the title, I mean either cut or be relegated to backup role/fight for their spot.

Omiyale, Kreutz, and Garza. I think Olin has one more year left in him, and it's a perfect time to draft a successor. They also need to draft or get a good free agent to take frank omiyale's spot. The dude was responsible for so many damned penalties. I swear he had a stretch throughout the season where he had one every game. I'm not sure about Garza's back up Edwin Williams, don't think he's the answer to replace Garza. Might have to draft a guard to replace him entirely.

    OMG, for sure.

Williams? find where he really belongs, and get someone to work with him intensely. Draft or bring in FA as insurance.

Kreutz's replacement is not on the team yet. They might only get another useful year or two out of him, and if they don't address this successfully in the draft, they have to hope and pray a young, stud FA center, worth overpaying for,(like they'll have to) magically becomes available. Yikes. Tick tock.....

I would have voted for Jerry Angleo first then remove OMG and Garza. I think Webb is the best ass blocker out there so I would not remove him. As for the people that voted for Olin, I am sending him emails of the people's addresses that want him gone.

The crazy thing is, even if we get a whole bunch of new linemen, if the year is delayed or cancelled, it's gonna be a LONG time before they can "gel" as a new group..

I am not on board with getting rid of anyone, even replacing any of them. They all showed promise in many ways. That said, we definitely need to bring in 2 or 3 maybe more QUALITY O line to compete and put the best 5 out on the field.

If they improve and do well, then having all 5 of them back would be the best possible thing. If we replace the weakest links at that time, then so be it.

Omiyale needs to be relagated to backup in place of Schaeffer who should be cut as being uneeded as to future improvement. I think that Omiyale could become a decent swing tackle but his days as a starter need to be put behind him. Other than that we need replacements for the two aging vets in the middle but we need at least a year to get someone in a position to replace Olin Kruetz. He can't transfer what he knows about line play overnight to some rookie who's never played a down of NFL football. Garza replacement should be able to take over by midseason next year.

    That's my input.
