That is much better.

whawhawhaaaaaaa? Our wr's are still weak? I thought they were our strength; that's what Martz said at the beggining of the year!
I actually agree w/Faulk, we've been needing pure wr's since before the SB. Knox has talent, but he's not a 1, he's a two, Hester is not a 1 or 2, he's a slot. I think Bennett is a posession guy. We have a few complimentary pieces, but we are needing that center piece. None of these guys have the right mixture of toughness and talent to help Cutler out.
why, why WHY is drake still here? He is gawd awful, he has not ever made huge strides w/anyone.
I also agree that Cutler is not a Manning or Brady, but more of a Big Ben mold...and Big Ben needs help w/TE's and WR's that are worth a damn; Cutler is the same way. That being said, isn't the reason we traded our first born to get Cutler so he could make the WR's better?
I actually read an article about Faulk about 8 years ago where he said when he was moved from Indy to St Louis it was a wake up call to him; and that he had to be a better player. He actually attributed that move to his career being what it was. He's a very smart humble guy; and he was a very essential part of that offense so he knows what he's talking about.

Our WR crew is still very weak and might be closer to the bottom of the talent barrel than the top

when I say the same exact stuff Im a "hater" and an "idiot". I would say us and probably the Browns have the worst collection of wrs. The only difference is we have a real qb.

I don't expect a 5th round draft pick to be tearing up the league in his second year.
Exactly!! It seems like every week somebody is criticizing another Bears player. Guys like Faulk should know better than to do that. If he wan s to share that opinion let him do it with Martz, if he'll listen, and not the press. All this critical bullshit just pisses me off.

I think OL, WR, then DT and CB are really what need to be addressed this offseason. Everything else can either wait or, unless we get a crazy good deal, not get involved...
Bennet seems to be the only true WR we have, he understands the position. Knox has alot of potential and I like Hester being more of the return man. I thought Aromashadu would become a really good WR but I'm kind of shocked we didn't see anything out of him this year.

Which is why with Smith and Holmes, we'd be set at the position. They're the kind of players Martz likes, and although holmes would be a bit more expensive, smith would come cheaper coming off an injury

When it comes to route running and that crap, I usually defer to my friends who either played the position in college, or currently coach it. Every one of them say the only Bears receiver that can run a good route is Earl Bennett. They especially get pissed at Knox, saying he's very sloppy in his technique and needs to work on making plays on the ball. That being said, Knox is still raw. He'll get better. But yeah, even then, we need to get better at WR.

so when reporters/fans critisize it's they haven't played the game; and when former players do, it's not their job so they need to keep their trap shut, current players aren't on the field or on the team, so they are just bad people, and if it comes from the team then it should have stayed in house and they are bad team mates? Who's allowed to critisize the team then?
Guess what, Faulk is a HoF player, that got those numbers in this system. He is qualified and knowlegable on the subject and is allowed to give his opion, good or bad, on the subject.

Butka what did they say about DA and Hester; or is it even worth asking?
