it especially makes sense if we are going to stick to a position over talent draft wise. By the time 29 comes up do we want to pick up 2 to 3 round talentwise olinemen? I wouldnt might as well trade out of the pick and not reach imo. I guess it will depend at the moment who is available there

plus it could free up free agent money

exactly.. a said originally do think IF one of the top OT are there, its a no brainer and we go there, but if all gone, than all bet's off and think they will be working the phones furiously to see if can trade down or work something out.. and if not going to be a tough choice at 29..

But the question is, is who is available on the open market that the Bears would be interested in picking up on OL? That would basically preclude us from going after Sidney Rice in free agency unless Ginny McCaskey cleans the cobwebs out of her purse and decides to foot the bill(s).

Kreutz has been great and one of the best leaders but you just got to know when someone is done. At what point do we finally move on?

As it stands, he's going to definitely get one more year. I say give him that one year before cutting him. I'd hire him on as an assistant to Mike Tice or to be Mike Tice's replacement whenever Tice decides to move on to being an offensive coordinator.

be patient and see what happens. holmes, edwards, Rice etc are all in play. I think with that many wrs available we could be going vet at WR. Plus there are plenty of guys available to play RT. We dont know who they want to replace we are just speculating so I really dont know which of the FA olinemen to advertise here lol. At LG my fav is Blalock and at RT I like Harris and I forget the kids name from Atlanta

I hope this all is good here. I don't know what sites DB goes to to find his information, but I'm certainly interested in seeing what happens. I'm hoping we get Rice due to his youth; Santonio Holmes is a risky venture with his disciplinary issues in the past, and Braylon Edwards drops an awful lot of passes.

and that is FA the players are available for a reason but when you let go positions for so long and draft poorly you have no choice. Dont discount Rice's hip as something to monitor. Every FA has a flaw or else the teams would never let that player go.

If we had better guys around him then yes that would suffice. I don't have a problem with Olin coming back and splitting time with someone but the whole mentor and leader thing-the greater percentage comes from Tice and the ability of each player to do and know their jobs.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Which of those three receivers would you go with in preference?
