Police seize Clark's rental property in Florida
Police recently seized a rental property belonging to Chicago Bears tight end Desmond Clark on the authority of the Lakeland (Fla.) Nuisance Abatement Board after several drug-related arrests had been made at the residence.
Clark told the Tribune he has 11 other rental properties throughout his home state of Florida.
"I've complied with everything they've asked me to do,'' Clark told the Tribune, adding he will go through proper channels to get the matter resolved.
According to a report on Bay News 9, Clark will be able to regain use of the now-boarded up property in one year.
"I'm just disappointed in this city down here, as much as I try to do for this city,'' Clark told the Tribune. "As much as people know me down here, I'm surprised that they wouldn't work with me on this.''
