I think they can coach that out of him this coming year. They've already asked him to get stronger so that he is better able to handle the physical aspect of his position. I think Knox has a pretty good attitude and that he's probably very coachable so I expect him to improve on that aspect of his game.

one thing that also worries me is the one constant that is Drake. Under this guy have we seen any WR propel themselves to the next level? Have we seen any route running improvement? That is why I want a more polished number one. I still think we are lacking in talent but my comment is more for the people who think they do have the talent that this could be a legit excuse why things dont improve. Or am I making Drake look more important then what he really is

I don't know what Drake should own and what he shouldn't but your observations ring true. We've brought in quite a few guys yet none have really turned into number one type guys. But......we've got a nice collection of number twos, LOL.

Its a good question, and no sure the answer on how important a WR coach is, but at this point, i'd like to find out, and replace him to see IF does make a difference

There's an old saying that says "you can't teach size" and that's where knox becomes a liabilty.

There some very good WR's in the NFL who are about Knox size though. Reggie Wayne (a little heavier) and Steve Smith (a little shorter) come to mind. I think Knox will always be a very good WR but never a dominant one but it all depends on how Martz uses him. For a 5th round pick he's been a hell of a steal though.

tory holt 6'0 190
desean jackson 5'10" 175
mark duper- 5'9'' 185
mark clayton 5'9'' 175
wes welker- 5'9' 190
jeremy maclin 6' 195

Which goes to show that what he is lacking, as some seem to believe, is not size

Well he seems to get manhandled by physical corners whenever we play some. The receivers you listed know how to avoid the contact.

Which, despite his size which as proven is not an issue with other great WR, should show you what his real problem is
