And agree 100% that IS his problem he needs to overcome.. was jsut saying SIZE isn't the issue.. its knox's inability so far( call it heart or whatever you want), to fight with the bigger Corner's as others his size do.. just don't like the size excuse, becuase alot of other's overcome that

You were right he can't learn size but he can get stronger and more physical and he can learn avoidance at the line. He has the quickness to do it.

and that IMO is where you get into coachin and drake, knox from Abiliene, whre he porb was able to outrun all the competition and prob even out physical the lesser competition, but pro's a big leap from abieliene- And that is where IMO as you said coaching/weight training can help with the area.. and so far haven't seen it

Yeah those boys at Abilene Christian are most likely the bible toting non-aggressive kind and this boy just needs to learn to kick a little Packers CB ass is all, LOL. You can definitely address that need with some additional strength and some coaching.

Still, if we could afford a little help in the form of an already established WR, that would be our best bet, because, let's face it, Cutler doesn't have a lot of time left in Chicago before the boos come out, Rex Grossman style. Getting these guys to progress is obviously what the team needs, and they should be significantly better next year, but the only one who prove himself this year, unarguably, is Bennett.

Knox 40 yards( or one long catch) from 1,000 in 2010 in his 2nd year as a WR, while not #1 stats, for a 2nd year WR that is very good, usually takes 3 years for a WR to break out,, his arrow is def. pointing up from 527 rookie year to 960 his 2nd year, that is the type of progression and number jumping you want to see- think he's proven himself a NFL WR.. just the level he can reach is the question

I mean, I think long term, they can all make a jump to a higher level of play, but I'd feel comfortable with another WR competing, because as many yards as Knox had, he's simply not playing up to snuff at this time. I'm not suggesting Rice, since we need to spend the money elsewhere, but if we could draft someone like Baldwin, at the right place, Cutler could get his "possession" guy, besides bennett. I think Hester and Knox should split playing duties, just for the fact that they're mostly deep speed guys, and rotating them to keep them fresh would be really helpful. Just watching every game this year, they're decent but nowhere near as good as clutch as Bennett.
