Haha, our futility when drafting offensive lineman is one of the main reasons I'd rather take a DT with our first pick. Especially this year when there are so many question marks surrounding these guys. Despite our need for a LT the only guy who projects purely at that spot has more doubters than supporters.

If we're gonna take on another OT project I'd rather get him farther along the line.

Only 4 of those guys were his picks, Terrell, Colombo, Haynes, and Benson. The others came before he was hired.

actually 3 soul... terrell was hatley's pick, angelo hired AFTER the 2001 draft in july.. and agree haynes and benson busts, columbo gets an asterik because of the injuries and starting on Dallas... only haynes a complete football player bust benson and columbo have shown to be NFL players- just not on bears

How was Benson a bust? if you wanna get technical Benson hurt his stock by holding out. thomas "one juke/overated" jones didn't help matters with his "I'm the guy, screw you rookie" attitude.

I'd take Benson 100 times out of 100 over cry baby jones... who also held out when he was drafted.

Both Benson and Colombo were Bears Busts which is all this article was trying to highlight but I agree neither was a complete washout as an NFL player. You can't fault Angelo for Colombo's injury and I don't think he even wanted to draft Benson but was kind of forced to do it when they couldn't trade out of the pick.

To me Terrell has been the only one to be a complete NFL bust. Even Haynes played for a few years. He just never lived up to his hype coming out of college. Hopefully JA learned a lesson from that pick.

None of these guys are as total an NFL bust as guys like Stan Thomas (#1 on my list), John "looks like Tarzan plays like Jane" Thierry, or Cade McClown. The combination of drafting him and then giving up a first for Mirer rank as the worst QB moves ever. Enis and Salaam had talent but not much longevity. I got a chuckle out of comparing Salaam to Ricky Williams though. Spellman could play but he was a head case because of the bi-polarity. That should have been known before they ever drafted him.

No matter what JA does or doesn't do he will never be as poor a personnel guy as Wanny. Between he and McCaskey they set the franchise back 10 years.

Unfortunately it's not something you can cut and paste. The format is a series of photos of each player along with a narrative about each one. You move from one to the other in sequence. I've gone to the site for several articles and have not had any problems with it so far.
