Ex-Bear QB Douglass charged with trespassing

Ex-Bear QB Douglass charged with trespassing

Former Bears quarterback Bobby Douglass was arrested in Lake Forest Wednesday night and charged with criminal trespassing to a residence and criminal damage to property, prosecutors said.

Douglass, who was quarterback for the Bears from 1969 to 1975, appeared this morning in Lake County courtroom, where his bond was set at $10,000.

Officials said the charges against the 63-year-old Douglass resulted from an incident involving an on-again, off-again girlfriend at a residence in Lake Forest.

    Shame on you Bobby Douglass!

Bobby was a running machine with an arm that could throw a football through the side of a barn. Trouble was most of the time he couldn't even hit the barn.
