I simply used what I saw as the consensus grades that players were given.
The more I look at option 1 the more I am not a huge fan simply because I do not see Carimi as a game changing talent. Solid plug and player Yes, but true difference maker maybe not.
Windy, your best one is the first one but without all that trading. Hold out for Carimi at #29 because I don't think we can trade down past Baltimore and Atlanta who may also want an OT. There's also Indy to consider and they like him too.
Now you have a second at #62 where you can get Nevis, a guy you really liked earlier, or maybe even Austin falls that far. Now you still have 3rd for the CB and I think you need that because the talent thins out thereafter. You still have a 4th for Barnes or Pettis if he gets hot and 5th and 6th for LB or OC/C you didn't get in the 4th.
That's what I would like to see. The other trade down scenarios don't interest me at all. The Bears may know enough about Austin to make him a first round pick or they may know just enough to have taken him off their board completely, or anywhere in between. He's probably the biggest mystery out there as to where he goes but I'm betting it's not in the first 40 picks.

I will run a shirtless lap around my neighborhood if Carimi hits 29, I just see way to many teams like you mentioned that need OT help. What would really help the Bears is if teams traded up and grabbed QBs ahead of us and then someone would fall.

That's what we're hoping for Windy. Now they're projecting that if trades do occur there may be a run on QB's from pick #23-#27. That would take Baltimore and Atlanta out of the picture if they were parties to a trade. That's the kind of luck we need in order for Carimi to fall to us.

I still do not see Carimi falling, but it would up the precentages.
I still for some reason see #2 as being the optiont that the Bears are going to go with. I really think that Jerry wants to pick Marvin Austin and that if Carimi falls to us he will not be able to make the excuse that all the good OLmen are gone.
I still like 3 if Carimi is not available because in any other draft Sherrod, Austin and Wilkerson are probably going to be early 2nd round picks.

Like I said, we'll have to get lucky enough to see some trades for QB's take place right before we pick.
They may or may not want Austin but in any case they won't take him at #29 when he could be had for less. I don't think Gilbert is a good choice either. If not an OT, Ijalana, at #62 then I think they'd be more interested in OG/C number two, Rodney Hudson. I'm just playing this very straight, without any trades, because we don't even know if it's possible yet.
