I think FA is going to go really, really fast. As a contender I think it helps us.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

And again, I ask, if we go back to 2010 rules, will that also mean we fall in the final 8 rule, which would limit our ability to sign free agents?

Hell yeah, nice articles. I hope this means everything is going to go well this offseason. Cuz yeah, like the article said... better late than never.

it will be interesting to say the least, cause there are some pretty big names that should be available depending on the rules.
Sidney Rice and Nmadi Asamougha (sp?) come to mind.

If we go by the 2010 rules, which by every means, we should sign them.

looks like espn is waffling like a politician on this Circuit court thing first said the 8th court did put the lockout in effect, now retracting it.. guess its still all in limbo, really wish SOMETHING happens before day ends:
During the 1 p.m. Eastern SportsCenter, ESPN broke in with an on-screen graphic saying, “BREAKING NEWS: Court grants temporary stay of players’ injunction, reinstates NFL lockout.”
@wingoz still no word on stay request from owners.. might not have player trades tonight
@adbrandt Don't think 8th Circuit will wait to Monday to rule on temporary stay of lockout, but the trend has been late night Courtroom football.

ESPN has no clue what to do with that:

@JerriAngelho The Ravens will not be receiving any compensation, unless they want it all over their face from this *****.

Mort on NFL live:
1. no matter what the leaue wasn't going to start the NFL league until monday, so trades today or F/A were never likely
2. The league is still awaiting the 8th appellate Court ruling, before issuing their rules-had hoped for something already, but in "wait and see" mode now
