    I am happy...BUT...

Nice pick. I hope Carimi becomes a world class a$$-beater for the Bears.

However, can the Bears EVER do something WITHOUT generating drama...?!? If there was an agreement between the teams, the Bears should cough up the 4th rounder...!!! Just my opinion.

What is all this crap on the news about Carimi being cocky...?!? As long as he does not need back surgery...WHO CARES...?!?

One of the only other guys that I would have liked to have seen the Bears pick up was the T from Baylor that the Browns drafted...!!! Could you imagine that dude on the line with Peppers...!!!

All I am hoping for now is that these draft picks will play this season...!!!

I think if DE - Daquan Bowers manages to fall to us in the 2nd he's worth the risk.

I would not mind another O-line pick. However, it completely depends on availability.

wisniewski (sp?) has been brought up, and I'd take him over Bowers. a solid O-line to compliment Webb and Carmini over a DE with injury concerns???.... oh yeah.

    1. Wisniewski
    2. Bowers.

unless there's a better option that I'm missing.

I'm still concerned with the line, but not nearly as much. Wonder where williams fits in to all this? is our previous first round tackle going to be relegated to Gaurd??? and can he pick up the slack?...

with T.Harris gone we do need that 3technique bad.... Can't wait for the rest of the draft.

I watched every minute of the first round... probably will the 2nd as well. might just keep checking back on the later rounds.

But that's one hell of a big risk Grizz. His career maybe over before it starts. We don't need to spend another 2nd round pick on a DE who can't produce for us. I'll take the safer approach and just get the best DT I can get for the money and someone else take that risk. We need as many sure things as we can get this year.

after reading that and thinking about how Tommie's Knee pretty much derailed his career I'm re-thinking my previous statement of worth it.... a 2nd? nah...

if he continues to fall to the 3rd or even 4th... I might start considering it again... like you said, there are a lot safer bets still on the board.

Oh I'd agree, if he ever fell that far you'd have to take a chance and grab him. Hell WRJ has taken a lot of DE failures around that spot in the draft, LOL. But......I think somebody will grab him somewhere early in the second. Too much of a temptation for some to overlook.
