and that's fine, each his own benj- personally place a higher value on the division games of the teams within the divsion that are good and competing for top,,, as those are likely to decide to divsion and playoff seeds( its like a 2 game swing if own the tie-breaker over the other top team), whoever it is- be it packers, vikes or lions( the once every 20 years they are up there)... Much rather sweep the packers if they are the 2nd place team, over holding the tie-breaker over let's say a 4-12 lions team.. and also will say for many Geography also plays into "rivals" and hatred of certain teams more for some than others- if do not live close to the border, i'd say your "caring" about a certain rivalry will be less than those that live on the border, who hear/see it daily their whole lives- dosn't make you or them better, just has to do with what your surroundings are and have grown up with.
and those comments are meant more for those fans that do care and live near the borders- not all comments need to be a "one comment fits all", or all comments need to be appreciated by all fans of a team the same

Paea weighs a little bit more than I do. I'm actually two inches taller than he is, and about 21 lbs lighter. FACT.

As do I, but you have to be cognizant of the fact that winning all of your games in your division plus winning as many games overall as possible are just as important as well. The reason we won the division last year was because we finished the season one game up on the Packers in the division, which led to us finishing one game ahead of them overall. We placed equal importance on winning all games, and especially winning within the division. Winning rivalry games for the sake of them being rivalry games is stupid if you don't look at them as opportunities to win a championship. Look at how the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox view the importance of their rivalry so very differently from the other and you'll see why the Yankees usually finish with a better record overall during the season than the Sox: the Sox put all of their eggs in one basket and then fall apart after a series against the Yankees is over.

I'm a good ol' Southern corn-fed boy, BULLITT. I eat grits (FACT), country ham, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, etc., for breakfast. However, I do eat brats like a Midwesterner does, so I'm not totally and completely uncultured.
