I can think of only Brown and Vasher each for one season and that was ONLY because we had such a dominate pass rush and TH was playing up to his billing. Neither one of those guys or any other of our db's have smelled the PB since. So again my point is that the Lions at least on paper should have a very dominate DL and garner a serious pass rush which should help their lb'ers and db's. I also believe that they will go after OL in FA like a Gaither. Detroit I don't believe will be the cellar dwellar of the NFCN for much longer and I do believe that the North is going to garner the tag of the toughest division in the league the way the four teams are going lately and that's a great thing.
We haven't been drafting a lot of DT in recent drafts, not since Tommie Harris back in 2004 that I can recall (well, Marcus Harrison, but he's been a bust so far).

How quickly we forget Tank Johnson who was a very good DT before all the off field nonsense, he and Tommie wreaked havoc for a little while and we went out and got Adewale Ogunleye which was our equivalent of their KVB. We drafted Mark Anderson a DE who was a superstar for one year and on an on so I stand by my original post.

Two things really inpressed me. Cutler puts the ball right where only Forte can get it and Forte does a great job of adjusting to the throw.
yep one of cutler's best throws of the year- and a perfect read of the "D" on the play

Not true Dags. We've drafted a few like Dvoracek, Melton and Gilbert in addition to Harrison. Toe and Tank Tyler were picked up as FA's.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Shit, that was a big set of brain farts. I should have known about Melton. Dvoracek was a bust, and Gilbert I barely remember anything about.

Dusty wasn't exactly a bust. He was just injury prone. He's have been a starter right now if he'd ever stayed healthy. Gilbert was the bust. I guess jumping out of pools has nothing to do with your ability to play pro football.

Maybe next year we can get another first round defensive tackle to play alongside Paea...unless Paea turns into an absolute beast.

with the 32nd pick next year , i'd say will be looking Cornerback... Or if a top MLB fell there also and probably OG in 2nd

Why DB, you are bold with your predictions! I like that. I like the fact that you are going to be there when 4th and 26 has to pay me 1,000 Bears Bucks for losing a bet that the Bears will win the NFC North Division title.
