I think many of agree with you about Webb as well. He seems to be far more the perfect RT than a LT despite the fact that, like Carimi, he played LT in college. He's beginning to develop nicely at RT so I'm hoping they leave him there too.
I can't fathom, as I stated above, that we would place Carimi at G. Hell, Chris Williams is too tall to be there and it shows when he goes up against DT with lower centers of gravity. I agree that we should keep Webb at RT and put Carimi at LT, while leaving Chris Williams at LG.

Tice seems to like his lineman tall so it's not impossible. Ref: Herman Johnson who's also 6'7" and an OG. Not exactly without precedent for the Bears either Dags. The original 80's Bruise Brothers Oline had Mark Bortz @ 6'6" and Keith Becker @ 6'5" tall as OG's.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Still, don't screw with a good thing. We have the best all-around OL in the draft and some young, talented pieces around him, with some help coming along the way. I think I'm going to like to have Chris Williams at LG pretty well; he really made a lot of progress at the end of last season, and he and Webb were arguably the two stalwarts on the line at season's end.
