I have to agree with this. I don't remember much about Henry as most people don't remember much about a Ray Guy Award candidate. However, he would be a valuable member of the team.
BTW, I have a question: does it make much of a difference from punting with three steps as it does punting with two? Is it just a matter of mechanics?

It increases the chance of a punt block(3 step vs 2). Changing to two can sometimes limit the punt as a punter can rely on that extra step for momentum and timing through the swing.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Thanks for the information, short faced. As for the change to a two step punt, I think as long as he averages about 41-42 yards per kick, we're fine.

There's a guy somewhere on here who used to punt, he probably knows more details on some of the plant-foot mechanics.

Yep- but he has had basically 5 months already to chang and figure out what the NFL will want... If he's a top end athlete he "should" be able to adjust.. and if can't he will not make it out of any NFL camp...

Too bad that one of the "Kicking Colquitts" who isn't a drunk can't audition for the Bears. They're local product here in Knoxville and they all attended the University of Tennessee. I think Dustin Colquitt was the punter for the Kansas City Chiefs.
