Lovie Smith hoping for two titles

Lovie Smith hoping for two titles

Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith hopes the Bulls start something this spring that Smith's crew finishes off in the winter.

"[I'm a Bulls] season ticket holder, so a big basketball fan," Smith said during an interview on ESPN. "I'm excited just like the rest of Chicago.

"The chance to bring ... hopefully we can win this series -- the Heat is a great team -- but hopefully we can win this series and have a chance at another championship."
The Bulls took a 1-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference finals into Game 2 on Wednesday.

Smith thought chronologically when asked which team will bring a title to Chicago first.
"The Bulls have the first crack at it," he said. "I hope they start it off, and we finish it off."

As far as recent comments Brian Urlacher made about the Bears being the best team in the NFC North, Smith didn't disagree.

"Of course I agree with him," he said. "You'd be disappointed if any of our players didn't feel like we were the best around.

"But reality says the Packers are there right now. They have the Super Bowl ring. They're the champion right now. And it's up to us to do something about it."
Of course, that's dependent on the NFL labor situation being resolved.

    Or the Sox.

But yes. He is talking bout 2011. But the title does not say 2011, just that he is hoping for two titles.

    Again, completely misleading title :)

Ok, for starters we could steal those rings!
