Your own best/worst Bears ideas...
Since the title can't fit it all, what I mean is, what trade/draft pick/FA signing did you see that either turned out great for us or would have, and which were you the most clueless on?
(In any era, pre or during the Angelo regime)
1. Getting either Brees or (preferably) Pennington for the 06 campaign, I thought would've fit us well.
2. The only Bears pick I "knew" was gonna take place, and thought was a good idea and even got the guy's jersey: Cedric Benson....
Maybe not the most cohesive thread, but it's the offseason, and god is it slooooooooowwwwww

The best move; Trading for Cutler and getting Johnny Knox in the bargain as well. Best trade we ever made.
The worst move; Drafting Michael Haynes in the first round. He was a one year college wonder and a reach.
I'd rate the Haynes pick much higher on the list of worsts than any other in the JA era. Grossman was productive before his head let him down and Benson was a pick that we couldn't avoid. Plus he has gone on to a productive NFL career elsewhere.

Best idea is to Fire Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith
Worst idea is keeping them both employed with the bears.

If we don't stay in Super Bowl contention over the next 2 years I think you'll get your wish and I'll be right there backing it.

If Martz doesn't drastically improve this offense this year, Turner was essentially better than him, he just got cutler with a worse line and less developed WR's..

He was 2nd round pick Henry. Great college career but couldn't measure up in the pros. Bazuin is another example of a JA reach for a pass rusher. There were several more as well until he finally decided to fix the problem with Pep. You might look at the Gaines Adams thing as a reach too, God rest his soul.
His credential as a pro were nothing to brag about and certainly not worth a 2nd round pick for anyone who wasn't desperate for a pass rushing DE.
