Since cutler was called for being over the line, the play didn't count on the penalty is why no drop on it k-mann

3-13-MIN 13 (13:24) 6-J.Cutler scrambles up the middle to MIN 11 for 2 yards. 6-J.Cutler pass incomplete short left to 80-E.Bennett. PENALTY on CHI-6-J.Cutler, Illegal Forward Pass, 5 yards, enforced at MIN 11.

    3. becuase they are the national game that week, and no other game on( and I could have sworn seen you post about games that ahd the packers on, but not bears, so find very hard to beleive you do not watch the packers sometimes at least- and you did say wtched the Sb, which had those packers and not bears and wasted more than 3 hrs on it, right?)
Super Bowl kinda IS different, I watch it every year regardless who is in it. Those few packer game highlights I posted about I heard about through friends (if there were any) and knew Bear fans would delight in the follies of the packers.
    4. So When you make a comparision of the 2 teams qb's over the last 2 years, you would realize the packer's qb ran more and was sacked more in 2009,with as bad if not a worse O-line and not mistakenly post cutler was sacked and ran more in 2009...
Not a valid reason why I would want to watch the packers
those are just 4 reason's "why" a football fan would watch another team..how is that? : )
Still waiting for an actual valid reason why I would want to watch a Packers game which did not include the Bears.

Again, stats are important in SOME aspects, but never tell the whole story. Which is why Montana was the better QB (you can see it in the way the two play) and I believed the Bears line was worse than the packers. But, since you seemingly watch both teams (seemingly religiously) I will take your word for it that the packers line was worse than the Bears.

so 'valid" reason are only one's YOU think are correct? ok

So because others like to watch the division rivals, it isn't a "valid reason" because well,, you don't? and most would disagree watching a game VS looking at a box score on espn VERY different, heck this "benjamin" poster keeps telling me despite the 'box scores and stats" showing romo with a better Qb rating, montana "looked better" for why better, which if he didn't watch the games and jsut read a box score he would never know... Just saying... even HE THINKS VALID TO WATCH GAMES over just "can easily do so in the paper/ESPN/Radio/any other sports show"

So by "the benjamins' own logic of 'stats don't tell the story, you need to look at the play" isn't that ALONE a valid rason to watch the packers? so you could then talk and compre culter and rodger's? or the bears "O' line to the packers "O" line- otherwise you can't make proper comparison, right?

So when the packers are the national game, it isn't a valid reason to watch. becuase well

Not valid reasons FOR ME. Never said they were not valid reasons for you. Everyone has their own valid reasons for watching various games. What seems like a good reason to you, may not be a good reason to me, Dags, Sol, Mo, Rick. 4th, ect.

I would like to add, much like in baseball where I only care about the White Sox six games a year, I only care about the packers twice a year.

Only difference in the two situations, is the packers losing makes our job easier. I may take joy in hearing about the packers failing, and sharing the news that I get, but does not change the fact that I do not care about the packers enough to watch them.

For the record, I only said I don't watch the packers. I do watch other games who are not the Bears because I love watching football.

So then why ask? if no matter what 'valid" reason's i give, does not matter.. and you jsut say 'well not for me"- its a useless question to ask

and again waiting for you to explain the "montana paradox".. if the "same" seeing a box score and watching the game.. how can you say 'montana looked better", if watching doesn't matter? and a box score gives you all you need?

so if the sunday night or monday night game is let's say packers/patriots or packers/vikes.. you do not watch it, because the packers are on?

I have better things to do than watch a packers game. Pitting the patriots against them it's easier to skip because I hate them almost as much as the packers.

ok, i'll remember that you never watch the packers( and personally find it strange for that someone that 'loves watching football ' turns it off if the packers are on, but to each his own though).. and still again waiting for you to explain the "montana paradox".. if the "same" seeing a box score and watching the game.. how can you say 'montana looked better", if watching doesn't matter? and a box score gives you all you need?
