I'd say that if we continue to draft as late as we did this year then we should be looking at a very good zone type CB. The man on man cover guys go high but since that's not what we need I think we can count on some very good talent late in the first. That's where I'd look first.
Next I'm looking for an OC to take Olin's place. Unlike Urlacher, Kreutz is about done so his replacement won't sit for long if at all. Depends on how long we re-sign Olin for but I'd say the newbie apprentices for a year at most. So like Carimi in this years draft, we need a road ready guy who has first or second round talent.
Next I'd be looking for a WR whose got some size, good route running skills, and hands. He doesn't have to be a 4.3 guy since we have two streaks already. Just give me a taller, faster version of Bennett and we'd be good.
I'm with sox on the OG thing. We can get guys in FA that can outplay any rookie from the get go and just plug him in where we need. We can use the mid rounds to add some depth at LB and RB if neither Unga or Bell pan out and as usual another pass rushing DE so JA can keep his rep intact. In fact if one fell in our laps, like Carimi did, in the late first I wouldn't hesitate to grab him. One more guy in the rotation never hurts.
