Chicago Bears Our BACKUP QB put the Packers...

    ...back on their heels.

They get 16 back from I.R.

    WE draft...THEY draft...

The bottom line comes down to this...

WHO WANTS THIS MORE NEXT TIME AROUND?

    It better be US.

There could be a rest of an NFL...but thats irreverent.

um, they played Cutler like a legitimate QB, they played hanie with a lot less pressure, waiting for mistakes, and it paid off for 'em.

As for the rest of the NFL, I still wouldn't wanna play NE again, and we're lucky Cutler played lights out against the Eagles (even tho the points they scored against us, we were in prevent D) and Jets. We still have work to do, they don't have as much. The only player they lost was johnny jolly, and that's nothing to worry about for them.

Either we think of ourselves on top...or we are always going to lose.

Why would Tice have command of the most MONSTER OL in NFL history if he didnt know what to do with it?

We as fans dont know. I guess thats why we buy tickets.

To see whats going to happen next.

I'm not trying to start anything, but could you clarify your remark on Tice in this previous post?

    Okay, I'm completely lost here.

Why would Tice have command of the most MONSTER OL in NFL history if he didnt know what to do with it?
It's not a great offensive line and gave up the most sacks, and set a record for most sacks in a half, but he made continual changes over the season to make it better. Adding more talent will give him more of a break, because it was just not a great group that he made good towards the end.

    Henry...thats LAST YEAR.

What happened last year is irrvelevant...its always what happened last year is irrvelevant.

Its only what happens in the future is what counts...and as far as this future goes...its all speculation.

We dont even know if there is going to be a future in the NFL.

Heres the fun thing Henry,... If the players walked away and went to flipping burgers at McDonalds...

the owners wouldnt have THE SHOW to put on...

and they would be as broke as the players.

So in the long run Henry...THERE WILL BE A SHOW!

Because Billionaires and Millionaires arent stupid Henry.

    They need.............................................. .........YOU!

OK. Seeing as that's very unlikely, I'd just point out, that often what happens the year previous tends to dictate, at least to a degree what happens the next year. AP started out great, and got better his second year. It's usually only injuries or a coach departing, or too much reliance on a player at an important position that has never proven to be good that causes inconsistencies. For that, look at Alex Smith and Rex Grossman.

Also, look at 2002, 2004 and 2007 as things that went wrong: 2002, Miller was recovering from injuries, and we got rid of one of our big DT's after 01, so the D wasn't the same, and Terrell never really helped. 04, Urlacher was hurt, and we had a new (and disastrous) offensive system lead by new QBs that had no place in the league, and in 07, we had Rex Grossman as our guy, and lost TJ, which lead to no running game and garbage QB play for too long. 08, we barely missed the playoffs, and 09, we got a new QB for a bad system that just didn't work. Those are the kindsa things that lead to differences from one year to the next. From 05 to 06, we built on defense, and QB play was able to be not as important as it was for other teams. Average play would've won us the big one, but bad play is what did us in..
