I still stand by fixing the interior more than anything, if just to have a good running game, which would ease our passing game somewhat.
True, some of those sack numbers are due to Cutler's own lack of ability to "throw the ball away," but still, i think our 31st ranking sounds about right. I dont think any opposing Defenses feared going against our Line.

I hate to see who actually finished with a worse OL than ours.

What do you expect? IF there are no OG left come time for free agency (especially if we operate under 2010 rules), what do you propose that we do? The next best thing to do would be to upgrade our RT. I don't think J'Marcus Webb is capable of being a solid T. Yeah, he improved last season, but can you really polish a turd and expect him to do anything other than stink from the friction it endures? Webb is TERRIBLE, period. He needs to be a swing guy who plays back for Carimi and someone like Clabo. We would instantly have protection at the corners, and I bet that the rest of the line would play much better. I still wouldn't be opposed to replacing Webb with Chris Williams (yeah I know, the stability issue comes up here) and if we're lucky and get an OG, put someone in Williams' place at LG like a Logan Mankins if we can acquire him through a trade.

Man, if we had made the Super Bowl, that would have been a fumble and sack fest.

Well, Webb gave up only a few more sacks than the Pack's first round rookie, and with 3 potential tackles, (OMG doesn't count for anything, ala Collins) if he fails, try him at guard. He probably won't get bullrushed like Williams...

You know, I was thinking that very thing. He would be hard to penetrate because of his size.
