Audio: Nick Collins on Jay Cutler

    By Kevin Seifert

From Tuesday: First, ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd asked Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins to name the toughest quarterback to intercept in the NFL.

    Easy.

Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.

(Clearly, Collins had checked out ESPN.com's Power Rankings this week.)

Then, Cowherd asked: Who is the easiest?

"You know," Collins said, "I do have my fair share against, I think, against Jay Cutler. But he is still a good quarterback. I take nothing from Jay. But at the end of the day I do get a good read on him on certain plays. So, but I would say Jay."

Collins has three interceptions in four games since Cutler became the Chicago Bears' quarterback in 2009.

The entire interview is available for your listening pleasure .

The floor is open for your mudslinging pleasure.

Well, yeah, if you count '09, of course he was easy to read. Dude lead the league in INTs. Hopefully 2010 was the beginning of a trend and Collins is haunted by his words; btw, I think every Bears fan that isn't still angry about the NFCC has GOT to be rooting for Cutler, who's had so much mud slung at him (and a lot of it saved from the Grossman days/daze)...

DeAngelo Hall would agree with Collins.

Big deal. If you asked Urlacher he'd say Favre and in another year or two it may be Rodgers. If you get used to how a teams offense is designed or a QB's tendencies you can get picks. I would think you'd have more picks against a guy you faced twice a year than one you faced every 4 years. How often has Collins played Brady?

Favre keeps both teams in the game.

I was thinking more along the lines that Favre would be signed by the Packers as their second string quarterback in case Rodgers sustains another game ending injury. Favre will then revert back to his 2009 form and dominate the competition with the possible exception of a few interceptions here and there.

Just messin', guys. I want the f*cker gone for good.

Favre isn't even good enough anymore to be our second string QB. Flynn is a baller, and I'm sure takes much better c*ck shots than Favre too. Dags, we'll let you be the judge of the contest.
