That's what being a good ST player gains you. There are dozens of guys who'd never have lasted more than a year in the NFL if they hadn't turned themselves into ST monsters. Davis, AP, and Wolfe are three good examples.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I wonder what percentage of stats go down or become irrelevant with ST players with the new kickoff rules.

For the guys like Davis who are making the stops it should matter less although there will probably be fewer tackles as a result of less kick being returned. The return guys will feel it more IMO.

Davis should stay, but be the lowest man on the totem pole at WR. He's great at ST, and we need to have at least some continuity in that phase of the game if we're going to lose so many players to free agency, including possibly Corey Graham. We are too damn close to getting back to the Super Bowl to throw it away by not maintain the littlest cogs in the machine.
