The best mix of what you are talking about that I find is in Major League Baseball. Every year, there are at least two to three new teams who make the playoffs that didn't the year before. This season, the Pirates and Indians or Tigers are set to make it to the playoffs, all while the Yankees, the Red Sox, and the Phillies have been making the playoffs almost every season now for the past several years. Pro football is close to that, but by and large, you see the same teams most every year go to the playoffs. It's interesting how this is the case when Major League Baseball doesn't have a hard salary cap while the NFL does.
162 games has to have something to do with this. That's brutal. All pro sports is brutal ( some more than others ) but still .... that's why I have so much respect for all pro athletes.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
