Yeah well that's what they said about Wayne Chrebet and that turned into : 580receptions; 7,365yds; and 41 TD's over an 11yr career. Would u take it ?
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

He's not slow, he's a very shifty and quick guy like a Welker. No he won't burn anyone down the sidelines, but his footwork and quickness in-and-out of his breaks will get him separation on short-intermediate routes.
Love the pickup, he was one of the players on my wishlist and I think he and Martz are a perfect fit.

Ohio State fan here, as well as a huge Bears fan! Wanted to give my two cents on Sanzenbacher. I live pretty close to Columbus and I've probably watched him play every Saturday. I was excited to hear Chicago got him. Seems like he catches everything thrown his way. I've seen him dive to catch overthrown passes, very Tom Waddle like, so he gives 100%. When I watched OSU play on TV his name was almost always being announced after a big play, and it was quite regularly too.

I don't know; he's almost 6 ft, he's probably already on Martz's don't touch list. If your not a midget need not apply in Martz's system.
I personally like the kid, he seems tough as nails, and the position needs that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I08QqP7cE5A Great vid. The things I took from watching this is : He just let's the play come to him, makes sure he catches the ball + doesn't try to run before he has it . How many times have we seen recievers drop catchable balls because they're trying to run before they make the catch ? Sanzenbacher doesn't do this. He doesn't get greedy. He just makes the plays he CAN make and realises anything extra is gravy. Solid chain mover with great concentration and hands. A blend of Tom Waddle and Bobby Engram. I hope he makes the team ( and they actually use him ).

I totally agree. On one hand I could see him developing into a great possession receiver, however I also think, with the addition of a great #1 receiver, he could be the the guy who gets 'lost' to the secondary and slips out of coverage for a big play.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I08QqP7cE5A Thanks for the input dayspring and welcome to DaBears.com. Hope you enjoy it around here!
The thing is that, other than his dimimutive size, I haven't read or heard anything negative about the guy. Based on what's been said and what I've seen it's a wonder somebody didn't take a chance on him in the draft so I'm glad we did when we had the chance and I'm thrilled that the guy WANTED to be a Bear.
Sox mentions him in the same breath with Wes Welker, BS-H with Wayne Chrebet, and I could add Brandon Stokely and Eddie Royal to that list of smaller WR that became very productive and drive teams crazy trying to defense them. If you told me that this guy could become our version of Wes Welker I'd say he'd probably be the best offseason move we made this year. Playing against that guy is always a problem an it's hard to believe Miami ever let him go. Give me a combination Welker/Waddle guy playing for us and I'm gonna be real happy.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
