Exactly. This one needs to be handled well so maybe they should take a deep breath and think about getting out of the Olin Kruetz thing first then deal with this. The whole thing is about letting him know that they're aware that the market has been set by the Williams deal and they intend to reward him just as soon as they can sort our the cap situation following free agency. Playing for less then half of what my worthless backup makes would make me ask about getting "tossed a bone" too.
