Last year the Patriots were willing to give us a second round pick for Olsen, but now the Panthers only gave us a THIRD round pick? Who do they think they are?!
Last year it was a 5th from a much better team, this year it was a 3rd from a bottom tier team. Trade is better.
I'm under the impression that it was a 2nd round pick last year but there probably wouldn't be much difference between the Pats 2nd and the Panthers 3rd given the expected records of each. I don't think we'd have even considered letting him go for a 5th kegger.
