I haven't really watched him as a pro, but he was far and away the best blocking TE in his draft and I seriously doubt that he's not >>>>>>>>>>>Maniateabeluga considering the diarrhea he sprayed all over the field last season.

WTF!!!!! He's a Kellen Davis clone so he better be able to block like a mother frocker and send "KahunaTuna" packing. If they're thinking of replacing Greg Olsen with this guy somebody does have a screw loose. Of all the offensive problems that needed solving this one was near the bottom of the list. I still think we could have canned Manu and replaced him with Lance Louis or signed a true blocking back.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Finally, Jerry (or was it Tim?) not hanging around in cutting ties with one of his big FA stiffs... now if only he could be as ruthless with Omiyale...

And Ches "the less" ter Taylor too. I want those mistakes by the lake gone because all they do is remind me and half the rest of us of what happens when Jerry Angelo does just what he's doing now. Sitting on his hands waiting to overpay for the 2nd tier talent left over after the first wave passes.
I'd love to give him the benefit of the doubt but it seems like everytime his ass freezes up like this we get screwed. It just seems like it's paralysis by analysis time featuring Jerry Angelo all over again.

What? Cutler was 2nd tier talent? Peppers? Really? JA pulled off 2 of the biggest FA acquisitions, in BACK TO BACK years no less, yet people still think "his ass freezes up?" Crazy.
And as far as Taylor goes...i think we still need him. Need to get rid of Wolfe.

Jimmors I was talking strictly about FA acquisitions and Cutler wasn't one so he doesn't really apply but I did give JA credit for Peppers and Cutler in numerous other posts. You miss my point here though. Cutler and Pep are both examples of JA getting aggressive and doing what no Bears GM had done as well for a long time. Kudos on those.
What I'm getting at is that when he lays back and is willing to settle for less than top talent yet pay almost as much for it is when we get it shoved up our collective Bears Fans fanny's. Right now that just what he appears to be doing and once again that's what I'm criticzing here. You seem to be reading me wrong.
