Where is DB54 when you need him to buoy up Jerry Angelo? I even caught "the sickness" at one point of mistakenly saying that "I trust Jerry Angelo." Boy, I will never do that again.

come on soul I know you dont always agree with JA acquisitions on the who side but you always preach the bargain signings. I was always in the idea yea why not bargain shop to fill in bs spots on the team but with the positions of desperate need you end up paying way more for it at the end going bargain bin shopping

Mo how much of a bargain was Manu, or Taylor or OMG some years back? This is what I'm talking about when I say he pays top dollar for 2nd rate stuff. You can't deny that from a monetary standpoint those weren't dumb deals. The kind of bargains I'm talking about are things like signing Pisa for a vet minimum and getting good play from him when healthy. Tendering Hanie who they should really see if they can sign to a longer term deal before he's an UFA.

There are others too but my brain is beginning to fry so I'm gonna be out soon. More tomorrow.

In forethought, at the time I thought Taylor was a GREAT signing. One year does not a FB player make. I think the guy has pride. I think he'll be alot better this year.

The fact he gave up more pressure than any other tight end comes largely down to misuse, with the Bears treating him as an extra tackle when he quite clearly isn’t. Manumaleuna surrendered pressure on 12.37% of the pass plays he stayed in to block for.
