I think I have finally gotten over the Olsen trade. I can live with the personnel at WR, with Spaeth and Desmond Clark at TE, and with Cutler and Forte manning the backfield. In those areas, we have improved according to the Mike Martz system. Where I'm angry at, and I know that ever fan on this forum has been harping on this now for about a week, is that we did jack diddly to bolster our offensive line. I realize that the line we had last season was getting a lot better as the season went on, but it still gave up an average of 2.2 sacks per game according to a source I read sometime back. That was a huge improvement, but we could have done so much more if we would have just been proactive on the front of the offensive line. I would have been just as happy with the same WR corp that we had last season if we could have gotten more offensive linemen. Now, I can guarantee you that Jerry Angelo won't make any overtures in the free agent market for anymore solid veteran linemen, and that's a sad thing. If he causes Jay Cutler to have another shitty season, I think we as Bears fans need to mutiny.
