    Low risk signing though. Probably get the league min and will have to prove himself in camp, then be in the dl rotation. I'm ok with this one.....so far

    It may not be fair to Gholston, but two names immediately come to mind when I think of this... Gaines Adams and John Thierry.

    Anyways, I'm cool with taking a flier on him as long as he earns his playing time and not put in there or kept around based on potential. Keep a short leash on him and demand progress.

    I'd still like to see us go after a real pass rushing threat (maybe Cullen Jenkins). Gholston is just a lottery ticket.

    Haha, just like John Thierry. Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane. I suppose if we needed bodies in camp this guy can provide on but I will be shocked, nay astonished if the guy makes it to the roster. Nobody comes into the NFL with more promise and plays crappier than under motivated bums like Ghloston. Get your contract and let it slide. I'm not at all convinced we'll get anything out of him.

    He's a failure at LB, okay, cool. Let's see what he can do at DE, and realize this isn't our "splash" into free agency, so venom shouldn't really be shot this guy's way. Really, he and Hurd aren't newsworthy save the fact that the Bears haven't done too much in free agency to this point.
