    Well, he was injured basically all last season, and he's only 28 and just one year removed from a solid season. Could be a nice backup. At this point, I'll take any competition for Chester and his 1 YPC.

    Jerry does realize we need blockers for us to use any of these "shiny used toys", though right?

    I'll take a shot at anybody who can take the place of Chester Taylor. The only thing I can say though other than your point about blockers is that has anyone at Halas Hall looked how poorly the Cowboys did with these guys last year? I'm all for picking up more productive players but are we certain that Barber and Williams can be any more productive with this team than they were with Dallas?
    I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

    If only we could get my boy Romo....but seriously I think the bears are trying to annoy their fanbase on purpose at this point. They have just seriously neglected the OL. Why? I have no idea. I hope they don't sign a former Cowboys offensive lineman. They got Romo injured for the season.

    I go out for 4 hours to come back and hear that we've signed Okoye and Barber!? Well now I bet we try to trade Chester Taylor for something good, hopefully an offensive lineman.

    LOL, the only Olineman we could get for Ches "the less" terTaylor would probably be Frank Omiyale's twin brother. After last season you couldn't get a used kicking tee for him.

    Although I'm not happy to have become North Dallas, anymore then I was happy to become North St Louis. I'm not hurt by the Barber move. He's going to be our short yardage back; which is what he's good at. I'm still not thrilled about Williams; I'll live w/Hurd b/c he is a ST replacement for Davis w/more upside as a WR then Davis had. Williams is a bum though.
