Go ahead; vent. Get it all out. The room is full of sympathetic people (and the occasional Angelo supporter) so go ahead. We want to hear it.

I'm feeling alot better today. I really have no bitches, save for the O-Line. we've got Barber for short yardage(where we've sucked), we got help on the d-line, wr and upgraded our blocking TE. AND, I just read that we're in the hunt for Braylon Edwards YDN Interest in Braylon Edwards from #Vikings, #Titans, #Bears and #Redskins.
I'd like to see a guard (or ten) and some db's but all in all...I'm optimistic

Positives: New Punter/cut old one, New Blocking TE/cut old one, New Power RB w/more ability then Taylor, added 3rd round pick(good value considering what other teams have gotten in trades for draft picks), Upgraded ST/WR.
Negatives: New "Big target" has no hands and allegator arms/cut better version b/c of "O Scheme". Did not upgrade OL, might have downgraded if Kruetz is lost and we cannot replace w/a better C. Did not upgrade WR position, Still in need of a SLB, no upgraded OL, possible downgrade is worth 2, at least, Missed on all of the big talents we were supposedly running at in the early stages.
Eh's: Gohlston and Okoye, lots of potential that was never really proven; hopefully Hot Rod + Peppers can make them work to our advantage, still not thrilled w/DB's no real depth.
Up to you how you weight things; obviously it's not a 1 for 1 thing; but there are more positives then neg's. Not sure that they are really equal to the neg's though. The OL is going to be a bigger crapfest then the WR's this year....and not b/c the WR's are something great, or hugely improved.

dont know what "improper" ranting is, but i just wanted to rant at people ranting, because everyone seems to be ranting, but nobody is ranting about the ranting, so there needs to be a rant about that too.

Oh it just seems like an overt slap in the face. At least go through the motions even though JA is going el cheapo and what we have we will make do with.

I think the biggest problem was expectations here; all the reports were we had a ton of cash to spend to get to the max; and still had some good money to spend just to get to the floor. So going after 2nd-3rd-4th rate players right out of the gates doesn't sit well.
