    No we wouldn't have; Olin is/was a better C then him. Olin is still a top 10 C in this league; stats bear that out. This guy has been healthy for a full 16 games a whopping 2x's....Olin has done it 10.

    Eh, Kreutz IS getting older, shorter of breath, and one day closer to death. I think it's not the worst thing in the world that we're replacing him with someone under 30, and that actually plays the position. I think we still have a dearth at OG, but maybe he moves over if we end up signing kreutz, and "groom" him, the way they tried with Bleakman.

    I can only hope, but again this guy has an injury plagued career, so having him as our starter is not a good thing.

    I don't think Olin was a top 10 C last year, I could give two craps what some metric site calculates. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's no way to accurately assign a grade to a lineman unless you're inside their locker room and know the ins and outs of the playcall and adjustments made at the line.

    4 mill is more than a fair deal to him. He wanted to get paid on his past.

    I guess it is bye, bye Olin...he deserved better.

    I have a sneaking suspicion that Kreutz and Olsen are gonna be missed since Spencer has been injury-prone and Spaeth isn't much of a receiver. Other than Carimi, I still don't see a single unambiguous & clear-cut upgrade from last year's (pathetic) starting offense.
