Bears set to re-sign Desmond Clark
I like it just because he joined up on this site and reads it from time to time. Welcome back Dez!!!

HELL YEAH!!!! I love Dez at H-back, I really do. and obviously the bears see he still has value... always been great in the blocking game, had a case of the dropsies a while back which burried him on the Depth chart, but all in all a positive for us.

Though they didn't play him last year, he was still our best TE. Glad to see him stay. Class act.

Great move if it's true. This would make me feel far less disappointed with the Olsen trade. I've followed him ever since he was a rookie in Denver and I knew when we signed him in FA that we got a good TE. He's certainly a more complete TE than Olsen is right now and to me the best all around TE we've had since Emery Moorehead.
I thought we'd already decided to part ways with him for good so this is great news. I can't believe they had him sitting for Manu last year. Worst move we ever made signing that oaf so welcome back Des!!!
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

It's definitely a shot in the arm. Perhaps Martz used his extra time in the off season to think of ways to use Dez more effectively.

Yep... as many people love Olsen, I always thought Dez was the better overall TE, and since Martz wants these guys to block, I didn't understand why he wasn't in ahead of at least Kellen Davis.

Here's to Dez getting some reps this year, and maybe a few TD's.

All receivers drop balls once in awhile. It's unfortunate that Dez' biggest drop was for a touchdown. Because it occurred on such a key play, he probably gets pigeon-holed as a receiver that drops balls. I remember that play...Dez was leaning right and the ball was thrown to his left. Even though the ball hit his hands, he had to reach back ackwardly to catch it. At the time I remember thinking that had he caught that ball it would have been a really good catch.
