Roy Williams? Where's the risk in this signing? He's a big-bodied bailout option for Cutler. He's only 29. He knows Martz's offense (which is even more essential in a lockout-shortened offseason). He has ability. And he has a strong-armed QB that will give him every chance to recapture his pro bowl form.

Marion Barber? I, for one, feel like this team, on 3rd and 2, or 4th and Goal from the 1, can't POUND it in. Forte isn't that physical. Taylor is finesse. With Barber? At least we have a guy that we know will go 100%, all-out, kamikaze madman bulldozing into the line of scrimmage. Is he a feature back? No. I think problem 1 was Dallas trying to make him one. He's a role player. A short-yardage power back.

The signing I'm most excited about is Amobi Okoye. He could be a special player in our defense. We'll see...
Agreed, this is one of my favorite posts of the offseason hope you stick around with our bunch during the season.

I keep looking at these acquisitions compared to who they are replacing. Hurd appears to be an upgrade and was Cowboys ST captain I believe last year (also gives us some height). Barber is unlike any other back we have featured in last few seasons, and Roy Williams can only surprise, our WR unit was serviceable but didn't light the world on fire.

Oh and Okoye sent this site a message on Twitter so he's cool in my book.
