According to what I read in Wednesday's sports we did not sign Anthony Hargrove after all. The newspaper had him signed with Philly and I notice the he's not listed on the Bears roster. Can anyone confirm the same?

Been reading(and thinking) the same thing. Unless this is a different Anthony Hargrove.....
"Professional Armchair Quarterback" and other oxymora.....

It's scary how much you just sounded like Jerry Angelo. LOL

Mo pointed out that several teams are over the cap and will have to either cut players or restructure current deals. My guess is that a couple of decent Olineman come spilling out cheap and that's when we may see some action. Jerry's trying to appear very shrewd this offseason trying to cover a lot of ground with his money. But like you I wish he's stop papering every other spot but OG and OT.
I promise to be good and not say anything, but you know what I'm thinking from prior experience talking to me.

We should sit Jay down in preseason games, I don't want to see him get sacked for the season before the season starts.

LOL, but despite that what he says is true. That's why keeping Kruetz was so important. Considering that we brought no new interior Olineman in (Spencer now) you can figure that CWill, Garza and Olin would have started next to one another for a second year. Now we have a new OC in the mix as well as a rookie OT playing RT and a 2nd year OT flipping over to LT. That's three changes in the Oline whereas many of us thought (and I believe correctly) that the max should have been two.
Even if the improve technically they still have to gel as a unit and that takes time. Jay should look into having some coiled springs attached to his ass before the season starts. He's gonna here those words, "Watch Out", quite a bit for awhile.
