Nick Kaczur has had a solid career. Only reason the Pats released him is cuz they got Vollmer, and he's had some nicks the past couple a yrs, but if he's healthy would be a good insurance policy. Doesn't mean u start him ( since Angetard is so intent on playing youngsters ) but he'd be a solid veteran waiting in the wings if needed. Once again what are they waiting for ?

I worry that the Pats don't usually part company with Olineman until they've used them up. You can see that by the way they clung to Mankins so I wonder if he has anything left since he missed all of 2010. Another guy to add to the list of the waived is Jon Stinchcomb. He's not a LT but he's been a starter at RT for the Saints for the last 5 years and hasn't missed a start.

The trouble is that LT is where we really need some depth. We don't have it and you don't usually find good LT's on the waiver wire unless they are used up.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
