The only time he would show up would be the last couple of games where he had to convince Jerry Angelo to keep him and it worked a couple of times.
That can't be the case with Webb or Louis though. Those two can't be making more than the league minimum so in this case their performance is proportionate to the comparitive size of their paychecks ............on the lower end of the scale.

About 2 more pre-season games and I think we will see if there is improvement or not. If I were to venture a guess I think Louis can right himself a bit and Webb will show up more. But what worries me most is Webb. I believe they are less likely to pull the plug on him at LT than Louis at LG and are more enamored with Webb's size and "athletic ability" than his intensity and technique.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

The problem with Webb and Louis is their LOFT or Lack of freaking talent. Tommie was talented but when he signed his contract he became very lazy and he got benched for it.

I think you've just created a new stat. The "LOFT factor. We can now measure our guys by the LOFT rating, LOL.

I'm glad Tice isn't really sugar coating the situation like Lovie does. This group doesn't need to be coddled by the coaches, they need a good ass kicking if they are going to even sniff mediocracy.

Well if you caught his lastest comments about the Oline you'll know that it's gonna be "run what ya' brung" time and we'll find out soon if Tice is a good enough coach to overcome the LOFT factor as far as Webb and Louis may be concerned. There's no help on the immediate horizon anywhere but on the current roster. Oh my God........again!!!!!! LOL

You caught that too huh? Tice is trying his best to express his concerns diplomatically about both Webb and Louis and Lovie basically contradicts him by saying he doesn't think it was a lack of intensity on Webb's part. If it wasn't that then 4th's LOFT factor is about the only other reasonable answer I can find.
Since Tice seems 100% committed to not moving Carimi from RT why do I get this dark sense of foreboding that we'll see OMG playing LT again if Webb can't step it up?
