Kudos to Earl Bennett. He's been head and shoulders above the rest in preseason. Looks like Cutler is making the most of a receiver he can trust.

He reminds me of Mike Haas of a couple of years ago.

So let's just throw to the guy who's statistically worse than any of them at both catching it AND keeping it once he does get his mitts on it. The Packers have a better passing offense than we do and almost always have. From that alone I'd draw the conclusion that their WR are always gonna look better than ours.

Why don't we swap ours with theirs for a year and see what happens. If their guys tear it up here and our guys still suck in that offense with Rodgers throwing to them I may agree with you. Until then you'll never convince me that what we start isn't better than their bench.

As far as their ability to catch yes but Sanz gets separation and Haas never could. That's probably what we've got in Fantuz as well. He's more Haas v2.0 than Sanz is.

I've been screaming on here lately that Dane Sanzenbacher is an excellent WR. He was terrific at Ohio State, always coming up with clutch play after clutch play for Jim Tressel's offense. Whatever Morrissey says about Sanz being cut because he dropped a pass against the Titans is pish-posh because Cutler threw the ball too low to start with.
